We’re leaving for Africa: follow our journey.

Dear readers,
We have been hard at work developing the next phase of empowerment projects for 2012.  Next month, we will return to Cameroon to lead our new Help Africa Move Forward campaign, and we’ll be reporting live on our progress from the Himalayan Institute Cameroon.

While packing bags, Jeff Abella watches Steve Odnoha try on a new pair of welding goggles. From triphala powder to solar panels, HI Cameroon will be restocked and upgraded with some specialty features.

Follow our trip and help spread the word

What we do is unique.  We operate on a fraction of the budgets of other international charities, and each of our projects is based in thousands of hours of research by our core of volunteers at home and in the communities we target.  Our successes speak for themselves. You can help us just by spreading the word.

This month, subscribe to this blog and receive our Help Africa Move Forward awareness kit for free, as a gesture of thanks for following and supporting our work.

Subscribe by simply entering your email address  in the box on the right of this screen, and then follow the link in the confirmation email which we’ll send you.

Subscribing is an easy way to receive our updates via email. It only takes a few clicks!

The next time you’re at HI Honesdale, you can use your email address to redeem your awareness kit at our front desk.  It’s as simple as that.

Tweet, blog, or post about us and invite your friends to check out himalayaninstitute.org/humanitarian for the latest updates on our projects.
